Mister Tab - Sold!

Unbelievably, Mister Tab has been sold. Mister Tab used to be a vast repository of free guitar tablature that I've visited a number of times in the (distant) past, but alas, those days are gone. This site goes back to around 2004, I think. I'm guessing that maybe the site was too much for the owner to maintain. I wish I'd had the chance to buy it myself, because I would have seriously considered it.

Actually, I probably wouldn't have bought it. There is no way that I would be able to compete with other guitar tablature sites out there. I mean, just look at Ultimate Guitar Tabs, for instance.They've got just about everything there, and it's not just a free guitar tab site. They've got news, review, interviews - in fact anything that rhymes with "ewes"!

And what is the new owner doing with Mister Tab? They've turned it into a sales page for Jamorama of all things. I'm not sure that's going to work out for them, though. Visitors to Mister Tab want free guitar tablature, not some guitar course they have to pay for. Yes, it's still guuitar related, but I bet not many sign up for the course.
