The 2007 Classic American Guitar Show was held on May 5 and 6 in the Sports Plus Events Center, Lake Grove, Long Island, New York (631) 273-1674. Firmly putting the "vintage" back in vintage guitar shows, some say that this was the biggest and best Classic American Guitar Show ever. There were more guitars, more dealers, more everything! Plus, there were all of the events that made the show famous in the first place. Vintage guitars, used guitars custom-made guitars, amps, parts, accessories and more! And don't forget the Jazz Bar - two days of non-stop performances from the top players in the country. The 2007 Classic American Guitar Show saw a special dedication of the Jazz Bar to Jim Fisch. The Classic American Guitar Show is one of the premier events of its kind in the country. In addition to the dozens of dealers selling vintage, used and new guitars, amps, parts and accessories, the show hosts the largest gathering of custom archtop guitar makers anywhere. Thousands of people come to the show each year to not only buy, sell and trade gear, but also to enjoy The Jazz Bar, a two-day live music extravaganza featuring some of the best jazz guitar players from around the world.
